Kyle D. Mitchell is a New York City–based attorney who has been practicing immigration law since 2022. After starting his career on employment-based immigration petitions, he moved into immigration court practice, representing clients in removal proceedings, before focusing his practice on the EB-5 Investor Visa.
Kyle practices in both immigration court and EB-5. His EB-5 work spans Regional Center investments and the less-common situations where EB-5 cases intersect with immigration court proceedings, including investors who file EB-5 petitions while in removal proceedings. Before founding his solo practice, Kyle gained experience on a broad range of immigration matters at The Romero Firm, including extensive work before Immigration Judges and USCIS officers. Kyle is also Of Counsel with the Law Offices of Li & Associates, which focuses mainly on EB-5 petitions.
Kyle also founded r/EB5_Immigration on Reddit and an associated WhatsApp group, where prospective investors research the program and ask questions of practitioners. These communities, which have grown to well over 1,000 members combined, are designed to be informational rather than promotional.
